The first time Leanne met Josie, she brought her a gift that she picked out especially for her: a pink elephant that sings "You Are My Sunshine."
That elephant became an instant favorite. It was always close by...
...even throughout her multiple hospitalizations.
The elephant always brought Josie good luck.
Since the first time they met, Leanne and Josie have had a magical connection and long before her obsession with singing toys came to fruition, Leanne somehow knew that this elephant would strike a chord. So it only makes sense that "You Are My Sunshine" is the first song that Josie has conquered. This one goes out to you, Leanne:

ReplyDeleteThat was precious! I so enjoy following your blog. That was the first song we heard our daughter sing while she was still in China waiting for us.
ReplyDeleteWe are currently in the process of adopting a 7-year-old girl with Down syndrome from China. We can't wait to see the blessings God has in store for us and our soon-to-be daughter!
